Waste Busters (our volunteers)
The Waste Busters can attend events and help to teach the community about recycling and reducing waste.
Buckinghamshire Waste Busters has been setup by Buckinghamshire Council and Garden Organic to help residents reduce their waste. Our Waste Busters are volunteers who can attend events and give you advice.
We can attend your events
Would you like the Buckinghamshire Waste Busters to attend your event? Our trained volunteers are able to attend:
- events
- fetes
- local talks (for example scouts, U3A, WI)
We can share information on reducing waste and composting.
Volunteer to become a Waste Buster
You do not need any previous experience and we provide full training.
You would need to:
- to be able to dedicate a minimum of 30 hours per year
- be living in (or near) Buckinghamshire
- be comfortable talking to people
- be passionate about supporting your local community to reduce waste
You can also be reimbursed for any travel costs.
